Steelhead Guiding Information

Now booking for the 2010 fall season! Please inquire about our day trips, multi-day trips, or full 6 day trips.

The Skeena river and it's tributaries are world famous for their steelhead fishing. At Driftwood Guiding we offer fishing programs on the Bulkley and Upper Copper rivers.

Playing a Steelhead The Bulkley river flows for 137 kilometers from it's confluence with the Morice river downstream to the junction with the Skeena river at Hazelton.  During our standard six day trip, an angler could expect to see a great variety of scenery on distinctly different sections of the river. Showing anglers new areas to fish is one of our goals.

The main part of our program is primarily focussed on the Bulkley river, but opportunities to fish the Upper Copper river might also be available. Daytrips are $560.00usd for a single angler and $950.00usd for 2 anglers. Extra fees apply for Copper river trips.

November:
Late season has been considered 'the secret season' for many anglers.  This is due to the good fishing to be had combined with the lack of pressure from other anglers.  We book the first ten days of November to take advantage of these conditions. Although mainly focused on the Bulkley, opportunities to fish other rivers are available.
